What is this and who are you and why are you doing this?

This is Bits of Paul. I’m Paul, and these are my Bits.

Every employer I’ve ever had has called me a Renaissance Man. Seeing as I live squarely in the twenty-first century, and seeing as I have not seen any loose renaissances running about of late, I am not so sure what good being a Renaissance Man is. But maybe you will enjoy reading my writings on an ever-expanding panoply of subjects?

Maybe, just maybe, you’ll enjoy them so much that you wish to support me financially, to the tune of $7—because what is 7 if not the most complete of numbers?

No, I’m not in this for the money (although were the money there, I would gladly write much more than I do). I’m in this to lighten the loads of others; to bring hope and life and joy to those who ache, who are weak, who anguish; to reflect and refract the Light of Christ unto a dimmed, dying world; I’m in this to give words to those looking for words.
