I found you via Twitter (of all places, Lol!). Beethoven's 7th is one of my husband's favorite compositions. You seem to have a heart here on Substack similar to mine...to give birth to a publication that has been in our minds for a long time. Mine has been germinating for many years.

So, new Subscriber here! May the Lord guide us both, and be glorified by our postings.

Heh--birdworld has its place (though it is a silly place). It has brought many beautiful things (and people) into my life. Your husband has excellent taste! This second movement is such a splendorous thing of lyrical beauty.

I shall have to read your work. While many of the greatest writers were, we are told, usually very quick writers, I suspect that that quickness sprang from how carefully the writers' hearts clothed and fed their thoughts for decades on end.

Glory always to God; may my writings never point anyone anywhere but Him.

Amen, brother Paul. And, thank you in advance for whenever you may have time to read my posts. I'm wrapping up a series on gratitude, and pondering what I'll be led to write for December.

You say the "normie" RW-GOP world wants to farm out its dirty work as if you are speaking about abstractions, but Manafort and Stone are still alive. The GOP-organized crime axis is as strong as ever.

Yes. I have only read his “Confessions,” and many years ago at that, but I find more and more of his thinking in--or rather, behind--mine. I need to read more of him.
